People’s Aid International, UK strives to alleviate sufferings, hunger, illiteracy and diseases worldwide regardless of colour, race, creed or religion and to provide aid in a compassionate and dignified manner.

People’s Aid International, UK’s view is that aid, as important as it is, is only the beginning. Providing people with education and skills to increase the confidence to participate in their own personal development and to secure their own future without the need for continuing external assistance is the ultimate goal. Millions across the developing countries do not have access to education for one simple reason: poverty. However, education would help them to alleviate poverty – by opening up job prospects, helping them to earn a living with the chance of a better life – and the impact of this would carry on down to the generations. We want to join all other dignified organisations that are committed to eliminate poverty from the society. According to World Food Programme (24 January 2007), hunger kills 25 thousand people a day. The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (UNFAO) estimated that around 925 million people were undernourished in 2010 compared to 840 million in 2007.
